Gratitude Practice 2021 Day 331: Scooter Girls

Grateful for an early morning scooter session with these two in one of my favorite parks.

Grateful for their excitement about our local skate park. Made me giggle to see two tiny girls dripping with pastel coats, fuzzy mittens, sloppy ponytails and Frozen 2 helmets hanging with a whole bunch of grown up gnarly skater guys. They watched in awe as the "big guys" dropped in and flew from one edge of the bowl to the next. They made quick friends and asked careful questions.

Grateful for their expected hesitation, their tempered courage and growing confidence. Grateful to listen to their skate park chatter all afternoon and grateful we have discovered a new place to play.
