Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 323: A Karaoke Singing Christmas Chameleon

Today was neither boring nor quiet. Grateful for the opportunity to trail behind this child. Grateful to have realized that my role on this gig is to provide limited guidance, distribute a steady stream of snacks and apply band aids when needed. Grateful to be able to document these adventures as much as possible because this child's creativity and craziness is an absolute life tonic. Grateful that our favorite chameleon costume has made a surprising reprisal as sparkling jammies...with a hood and tail. Grateful for the joy and energy and creativity that absolutely oozed out of her all day...and that was before her Birth Mom dropped off a Karaoke machine as a Christmas gift. Yeah! Yikes! Yeah again! She could not be happier and we remain both grateful and curious for whatever magic materializes tomorrow.
