Gratitude Practice 2021 Day 341: Chinese take out and a double feature both enjoyed on our very comfortable couch

]Grateful for egg rolls because let's get real...is there really anything better?

Grateful for an evening with Jon Hamm, Jamie Dornan, Emily Blunt and Christopher Walken and the breathtaking farmland of Ireland. My goodness the scenery in this film was stunning. Grateful for Wild Mountain Thyme, a quirky charming unusual love story with such inspiring scenery that I've started looking at flights for a trip or perhaps a complete transcontinental move across the pond. Because that grass…it was pretty damn green.

Grateful for Mad Max: Fury Road and the powerhouse badass Charlize Theron character who completely dominates a post apocalyptic wasteland in a pimped out semi truck full of mother's milk….I mean talk about life goals...a fierce middle aged female lead avenging the collective pain of the oppressed while mentoring the younger generation all the while healing her own childhood brokenness...AND endless exploding motorcycles? I mean...? Still not exactly sure I understand all that just flashed through my eyes and into my end of the week mushy brain...but I kinda liked it...and I may need to get me one of those semi trucks if the first two weeks of this year is any predictor of what the rest of 2021 has planned.

Grateful for a kid free adult evening (God bless you Ben Rich!) at home where Burke and I just got to veg out together... on our couch... eat adult food... and enjoying TWO movies...neither of which contained animated singing animals, glittery unicorn or talking cheerful rainbows.

Grateful for a night of such grown up gluttony. Who even needs anything more out of life?
