Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 301: Grinch Day!
Grateful for Grinch Day. Grateful for our kids school and her creative and resourceful kindergarten teacher who magically makes everything meaningful, educational and fun. Grateful for a week of Grinch themed lessons and activities. Grateful for green balloons boasting hearts drawn in red sharpie filled first with baking soda and then vinegar demonstrating in real time that the size of a heart can actually grow three sizes in one day. "Whoa! Mom, you would not believe it! The balloon Grinch heart actually grew three sizes right before my eyes!"
Grateful for a simple writing exercise that has taken all week: "The dog Max is sweet." Grateful for "Who Hash Treats" and lots of conversations about big feelings and the need for forgiveness. Grateful for holiday themed unicorn sweaters with real silver fringe and Christmas tree horns. Grateful for our Cindy Lou Who inspired hairdo and Sk’s carefully thought out plans and suggestions. Grateful for a collection of ribbon scraps and for this fun memory. Grateful to see the world through her big brown eyes and hopeful she never loses her sense of curiosity, excitement, wonder and appreciation for this fun and insightful story.
