Gratitude Practice Day #16: Good Food and Even Better Company

Most days, when the hunger pains kick in, I walk down the hall from my office to our break room and microwave a Pyrex bowl of leftovers. Most days, I'm content to eat my lunch at my desk as I send email or continue working on projects. Most days, this works out just fine. BUT....on those rare days when you sneak out of the office to grab a quick bite and a long overdue catch up with a friend....those are the best days. I went savory with a spiced apple cider. She went sweet with a hot steamy mocha. Both plates happily devoured. Today's lunch time experience was much better than most days and I can be pretty grateful for that.
