Gratitude Practice 2024 April 20: An Almost Normal Saturday

Grateful for the luxury of waking up at 8am after sleeping through the night…an event that has not happened in months.

Grateful to be able to run a small handful of life errands before my fleeting energy ran out.

Grateful for a bit of time to paint over priced ceramics with my girl as she chatted my ear off for two solid hours. Grateful to listen to her thinking and her laughter and her endless questions.

Grateful for another lovely bunch of tulips…because freshly cut flowers are life…and Trader Joe's Lemon Scones are just so tasty.

Grateful for naps and freshly cut grass and the time and space I have to rest and sleep and recover.
