Gratitude Practice 2024 April 1: Science Camp

So grateful my kid loves science. She is incredibly curious and is always thinking about how things work and how things could work better. I think she gets this voracious curiosity from her nerdy father and we nurture it every chance we have. This week, our little thinker is spending a fair chunk of her spring break at a nearby science camp and I could not be more grateful. She knew nobody and walked in cold and walked out beaming, waving goodbye to new friends and proudly holding a new bag of…slime…resistance is truly futile. Grateful I get to watch her develop this part of her personality and inspired by her outlook on the world. Grateful for the natural problem solving skills she is acquiring and mostly grateful for her endless questions. So grateful for my not-so-tiny-anymore budding scientist and her very bright future.
