Gratitude Practice 2024 March 22: This Guy.

Today marks sixteen years of marriage and I've never been more grateful. The older I get, and the longer we are married, the more I am convinced that I made a really good choice with this guy. So many up’s and a handful of humbling downs and I am nothing but grateful for his level head, for his consistency, for his fierce dedication to me and our girl and the beautiful life we are creating. Grateful for his sense of humor, his super computer-like brain and for his hard working dedication. Grateful for all of the non-glamorous life essential tasks that he just takes care of on the regular AND all of the extras that he has mastered as we are slogging through my treatments. Grateful for his endless patience with me and the crazy circus that follows. This is perhaps the most uneventful and to be honest lame anniversary we have ever shared but it is also quite possibly the most loving. I can't imagine doing this cancer thing without him by my side and I feel oh so lucky to call him mine. Here’s to the best 16 years of my life walking hand in hand with my beloved, Burke Rich.
