Gratitude Practice 2024 March 8: Rebel Girls

A few years ago, we stumbled upon this little treasure of a book and it quickly became a family favorite. Can't recommend it enough as it includes very readable, informative, and inspiring stories of real women who advocate, agitate and actualize for women and all that is right in the world. Each page outlines how being a rebel girl is a way to make a big difference inside our ever complicated world. Examples of rebel girls in this kid-friendly but strategically impactful anthology spans time and space and represents all religions and cultures and backgrounds and I love every single one of them. Grateful for the boundary pushing and equally tender conversations these rebel girl bedtime stories are generating with my little rebel girl. Grateful for the strong examples of real rebel girls and women we have in our life and community. Grateful to be a rebel girl and even more grateful to be (hopefully) raising one.
