Gratitude Practice 2022 Nov 8: Our Coffee Table Construction Zone
Some people's front room coffee tables are carefully and artfully decorated. Designed with large and lovely photography books strategically stacked and arranged. Vases of seasonal blooms rotated and replenished on the regular. Carefully selected knick-knack-ary placed just so.
Welp. We are not those kind of coffee table people….or at least we are not in that phase of coffee table adulting…and I'm totally okay with that. We are far from magazine worthy and instead we may be nurturing some kind of engineering in the making....and I'm totally good with that.
Grateful for the jar of multiple colored Legos that truly anchors our main living space. No shame in our coffee table game. Grateful for the rotating collection of houses and cars and ships and creatures that are created and re-created on our coffee table almost daily. Grateful for our very own coffee table construction zone and the hours we spend together digging our hands into this deep jar of potential and possibility.
